  Super family activities, but paying for showers on top of a hefty overnight fee was just one of the few negatives. Especially after my grandaughter slipped down a muddy slope on a wet weekend.

  Hotel structure needs a make over. Other wise its a nice area for family. Beach is ok yet small

  Outdoors. Very nice grounds on the lake. Beach is good with nice water sports equipment. Pontoon boats needs maintaining. Throttle/steering was stiff.

  Nice for Camping, family-friendly, rent a room if you are no outdoors fan, your kids will love it.

  Rooms, they are fine. Just so happen that the cabin we satyed at had a broken sink. We wer tld to use the water inn to cook our meals for the whole entire time of our stay.(couldve been fixed in 1day)Just a bit of work needed.

  Used to be very good under old owners. Still a gorgeous lake with great fishing and rentals available. The grounds are nice and the community is good. We were turned down by the staff saying that we wouldn't be allowed to camp for a weekend as there were a few teenagers and that's too much of a problem for the campground. Very rude assumptions and generalizations were made when trying to book. I no longer camp with them but regularly visit the lake to fish and boat.

  Let me start by staying we enjoyed our 4 days (3 nights) at Desert Lake Family Resort. however in our opinion there were some areas that need improvement to make it better (and therefore a higher rating).

  Let me start with the service. We thought this was 4 out of 5. Everyone we met was amazing. Always willing to help and assist. (new owners are somewhat snobbish they dont greet)

  Overall, This resort has so much potential, but as its mainly a trailer park. I think the mid week guests are just not the focus.
